Allow me to introduce myself. Around blockchain projects, I use the moniker 0xThew. I am somewhat new to Publish0x specifically and to blockchain/cryptocurrency generally. I have been tipping articles on Publish0x for the past several months*. Occasionally, I’ve also commented. I finally decided to move forward with publishing. This is my first article. Let me tell you about my intentions moving forward.
I recently had an idea for a blockchain / cryptocurrency project. I am not ready to reveal the idea publicly. It is the reason I participating in crypto-ish projects. Call it participatory research. I initially found several cryptoearning sites and was excited by the zero financial investment bar to entry.
I jumped in.
Why I’m writing on Publish0x:
There are three reasons for this:
- Earn more crypto currencies
- Refine my blockchain-related idea(s):
- Clarify, test out, and ask for recommendations of projects related to the one I’m working toward
- To support the crypto communities that I’ve found the most interesting, friendly, and fair. Including, the 3 communities below that I participate in regularly*:
- Publish0x - Of course!
- Crowdholding - Earn crypto for feedback
- Pynk - Earn points for predicting Bitcoin daily. End of September 2019, the first round of Wisdom Points are being redeemed for Pynk shares*
- Start a library of blog drafts for future posts on other outlets

First request
My pending project is a blockchain application for social benefit. Right off the bat, I’d like to know: What are your favorite blockchain / crypto "benefit" (i.e. for social or environmental good) projects out there? I’m interested in any projects that fall under the categories of:
- Financial / economic opportunity
- Social responsibility / justice
- Access to education
- Access to health / wellbeing services and information
- Environmental responsibility / stewardship
