Transmission #2

Expect a regular schedule like this; a transmission every three days.

Captain Jack Pitt here again, live from high orbit. This time, I'm going to talk a lot about the future. The future everyone has to look forward to when this parasitical oligarch class is removed from the backs of humanity in perpetuity.

Don't worry. I've got extensive files on how to do the tick removal operation and that'll be a transmission all its own. I was in the unconventional ground forces before I switched my service to the Fleet. This used to be bread and butter, know what I mean?

So okay. The future.

Well, you know the future exists now, right? We're from it. So obviously the most logical conclusion to draw is that the parasitical oligarchs fail in their attempt to euthanize humanity. If that is accepted as a given, then fear is a waste of motivation. So cut the COVIDIOT hysteria already! The so-called virus is a non-issue, regardless what that New Jersey windbag has to say about it. I'd like to go on the record that the just referenced New Jersey windbag is a grave disgrace to both the state and the hull class. This ship of mine just happens to be a New Jersey class heavy battlecruiser. The firepower of a light dreadnought with the operating costs of a heavy cruiser. One each.

U.S.S. Lovecraft NCC-1888. Don't you forget her name or ever take it in vain.

So okay, let's get back to the future, shall we? I have a tendency to get grandiose when addressing murderous windbags and technonazis. They bring it out. But I am going to have fun watching the whole planet hand them their asses in a wet paper bag. We're recording everything by the way. Should we find a way back to where we came from – these files are going to be historical gold for the eggheads in my century.

So let's talk about what most humans experience day-to-day in the future since most humans aren't assigned to a starship and getting flung back in time to the Earth of two hundred years ago. Only a special lot get that distinction. We've noticed that in the US of A at least, there seems to be a grave dissatisfaction with the duty of work. What is it you're calling it? The Great Resignation? Scanning what it is you all do with yourself for 8 to 12 hours a day certainly fits the definition of drudgery as we would define it.

In the future, we don't work like you all do. So what do we do you ask? Do we have some kind of universal basic income? Government payments for all? No, that would be socialism and the future is what you would call libertarian. In the future, there is no government to take care of you because there really isn't this thing called government with a monopoly on force that shakes you down for regular infusions of tribute. Seriously, the last standing real hierarchy in the 23rd Century is Star Fleet Command and the Federation Ground Forces. Quasi-military and military organizations function best as hierarchies with strict chains of command. As to the rest of society, it's organized along cellular lines with no defined leaders. It's more like distributed intelligence rather than placing all that under one or two brainbugs.

It's safer that way, too. It's been our experience that hierarchies and leaders are too susceptible to takeover by psychopaths to warrant further use as governing organizations.

Yeah, humanity has finally learned a lesson or two about the key cycles of past history. But what do we do with ourselves if we don't work? Well, we work but we work at what inspires us the most. People with similar inspirations naturally gel together and form a cell. The cells mission is whatever the individuals pursue as being important. But wait, how does something like that not just naturally trample on others rights without some traffic conductor making rules like a government?

There's rules and law in the future. About five pages worth. And everybody signs it. It gets filed with clerk of the county of birth and it becomes an irrevocable evidence that YOU KNOW THE LAW. We don't need lawyers in the future. Everybody represents themselves in confrontations. The Law is not hard to understand. It is not an excuse to say you didn't know the Law. If you don't know it, then you must have never signed it. But you know it already. It's the Natural Law.

We're born under it and with it. One can never ever plead ignorance under the Natural Law. To claim so is tantamount to Natural Heresy.

There's still money in the future. It isn't issued by a bank or government; its issued by the Algorithms. The blockchain. Cryptocurrency. Most people make an income, one of many, from recommending things they like via a blockchain ID individually created which pays a small commission as thanks for recommending that person to buy something via your IDlink. This way of doing an economy is in its infancy right now. You call it affiliate marketing or consumer direct marketing. There's no need for government handouts when the increasingly automated economy becomes an affiliate gig economy.

I know. AOC ain't gonna like it. What? No tax and burn anymore? What's a Bolshevik to do?

No more mega-corporations or churches either. All cellular now. A business venture forms along cellular lines while other cells form along lines that were traditionally fulfilled by temples and churches. Religion still exists. Our constitution acknowledges that there is only one true source of law, God. I'm happy to report that radical Islam no longer exists; the Sufis took it over and turned it into a true religion of Peace. Satanists or what you call Satanists today still kind of exist. Since the Prime Directive is the Supreme Law now, they can't follow their Left Hand tendencies like they're doing in this current era of yours. God bless those lefties, you gotta love 'em. They solved the problem quite nicely and constructively, I might add. Now they engage in virtual antinomianism. What is that? Well, it means they program artificial realities now that are just as real and vivid as this one and they do their transgressive shit in there. Something like that android looking fellow is trying to con you into immersing yourselves in now – the metaverse.

Don't do it like that. Not his way. Do it yourself. He's Michael Myers with what he wants to do to your digital self in the metaverse. The Moral being, learn to code. And firewall that android fellow from getting inside your self constructs while you're at it.

The future is made up of men and women. There's extraterrestrial life, other sentient species we interact with, trade with, and engage in mutual defense alliances. In my time, the Federation includes many star systems over a frontier that is billions of astronomical units in distance. There are star empires out there that don't agree with the way the Federation does business. They act like your New World Order wants to act. When they push the issue and harm or threaten to harm any colony, civilization, sentient species with uninvited aggression and oppression, Star Fleet is there to give them some horrific pause. So far, we've held our frontiers.

Our starships are capable of trans-light travel. That means we can go faster than the speed of light. Trans-light travel is the only trans we engage in in the 23rd Century. And we call these Warp Factors of Trans-light Velocity. It's a geometric progression. We don't have personal conveyances anymore either. Mass/energy conversion transporters make a car superfluous. Technology helps us to be the best we can be as a species, representing Humanity in the company of the Stars. We don't use technology to enslave or mass murder. Technology is a double-edge sword.

I might be facing serious censure upon return to my time for letting too much of the cat out of the bag to the whole human race at this point in history. So be it. Let the cookie crumble where it may. The thing everybody needs to know more than anything else right now is just how bright the future is going to be for everybody.

You've just got to get some ticks off your backs first.

That concludes this second transmission.
