At its core, Rune.farm it’s a ARPG with NFTs, but that won’t happen faster than a year according to the roadmap. It’s massively inspired from the Diablo world (the rune names, Sanctuary… WorldStone Shards, the font etc)

In order to play you need to login using metamask or other wallet

You need to create a character (around 20 $ using bnb) (-20% if you have a referral code)

Now let’s see what you can actually do now there.

You can play to earn

The game mode is called Evolution - bigger dragon eats the smaller dragon. You play with the mouse. Kind of stupid graphics and have nothing to do with the Diablo feel the rest of the project has, but the gameplay is not that bad…
It’s a dexterity game, no items or buffs. It's actually super hard to win since I guess most of the other players do play a lot of hours per day so they have skills unlike me.
You can find & earn fractions of runes while you play. Once you gather at least 1 RUNE you will receive it at the end of the week.  If you have 5 of one kind you get them that day.

The drops are not huge to it might take some hours of grinding to actually have a full rune. 

Here's what I got in around 1 and a half hours of playing Evolution mode (and i'm a noob). You can for sure snatch more runes once you get the hang of the game.

With the Runes you can create equipment, called runewords = NFT, items that the characters can wear.

The equipment can be sold (lowest on market is 0.01 bnb so ~ 3 dollars) or can be used on a character. 

The characters for now can only be used in “farm raids” - where you can earn the latest released rune. It seems like it has a high APR but I haven’t really got to try it yet. The gear you equip increases your farming.

Before the actual rpg will be on there should be some new game modes, for example their take on browser PvP.

I personally lack the time to grind for hours - but if you can invest enough time in it it’s for sure a decent source of income and can be a nice time killer if you like the Evolution mode.
