Chirping Birds

Chirping Birds

By The Von Himself | vons poetry corner | 25 Mar 2021

Melodic chirps of the gleeful birds

Took away my frantic thoughts

As I gazed at them, deep in wonder

It fills my heart to see their merry way

A little smirk appeared from nowhere

To rid my face of its gloomy fate

It brings to mind so many questions

Did the birds sing to me

In an attempt for me to sing along

To make me cast away my worries

Relieving me of all my burdens

Free from all my stress and tear

To face any obstacle readily

To believe in myself

To soar to new altitudes

The melody birds chirp, soon will become my own

So chirp to song of hope

That I may have the courage to live another day
