I Didn’t Run… I Just Sat There

I still don’t know why I didn’t move.

Maybe I was scared…

or maybe I just didn’t understand what was happening.

Everything felt normal just a few seconds before.

Then suddenly… that sound.

Not too loud…

but enough to make my heart stop for a moment.

I looked around.

No one was speaking.

That silence…

it felt heavier than the sound itself.

I remember thinking:

“Is this how it begins?”

I didn’t run.

I didn’t scream.

I just sat there…

trying to convince myself it was nothing.

But deep inside,

I knew it wasn’t nothing.

And that feeling…

it doesn’t leave you easily.

Even now, sometimes,

when everything is qIf this felt real to you, even for a second… you can leave a small tip. It truly means a lot.uiet…

I feel it again.
