Quiet.

Too quiet.

I tried to start a conversation…

but he didn’t respond.

At first, I thought maybe he didn’t hear me.

But then I looked into his eyes.

I stopped talking.

he had already said everything.

Not with words.

But with silence.

There was something heavy there.

Something broken.

I didn’t ask anything after that.

I just sat there with him…

in that silence.
