Years ago, I recorded this invitation to come to Christ while driving at night on interstate 40 in Tennessee. The late Baptist preacher Oliver B. Greene was fired up enough to preach the truth from the Bible. No apologies and compromises.

Evangelist Oliver B. Greene lived from 1915 to 1976. It is a blessing that his messages are still being aired on the radio today just like we know it from other preachers like Lester Roloff, Adrian Rogers or Bible teachers such as G. Vernon McGee. They already have gone home to be with the Lord but their messages are still broadcast today so that being dead they still speak (Hebrews 11:4). Oliver B. Greene's bold way of preaching has become rare today as people seek soft-spoken flatterers and have become to proud to endure sound Biblical doctrine. It takes genuine humility to be corrected by the word of God.

Brother Greene was sick in his last living years and went home to be with the Lord. He was prepared to meet the Lord. We have to ask ourselves what is the condition of our souls? Are we prepared to meet the Lord? God in His infinite love prepared a way to make peace with Him through Jesus Christ.

We must simply come in repentance and faith.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
