I wake up each morning, with a vow and a plan, To change my habits, and become a better man,

To break free from the chains, that hold me back, And embrace a new path, without any lack.

But as the day wears on, I find it tough, To stick to my plan, and not give up,

For the habits of old, they pull me back, And the road to change, feels like an endless track.

I try to push through, and stay on course, But the pull of the past, it's a mighty force,

And I find myself slipping, and falling down, Wondering if change, is truly profound.

But then I remind myself, why I'm doing this, To live a life, without any miss,

To break the cycle, of old patterns and ways, And embrace a new dawn, with each passing day.

So I pick myself up, and try once more, To change my habits, and even the score,

To create a new path, that leads me to bliss, And leave behind, the old ways that missed.

It's not easy, this journey of change, But I know that with effort, it's within range,

For the power of habit, it can be undone, And a new way of living, can be begun.

So let me stay strong, and push through the pain, For in the end, there's so much to gain,

And though the road may be long, and the journey tough, The reward of change, it's more than enough.
