In a haze of smoke, my mind takes flight, As I venture into a psychedelic sight. Eyes bloodshot, senses heightened and keen, A world awakens that's rarely seen.
Beneath the stars, I tilt my head back, And witness a spectacle, a mind-bending track. The trees in the sky, they dance and sway, Their branches intertwining in a cosmic display.
Each leaf, a brushstroke of vibrant hue, Painting the heavens with a psychedelic view. Their trunks stretch upward, reaching for the skies, Roots transcending earthly ties.
Their branches morph into celestial forms, Majestic creatures, weathering life's storms. A unicorn gallops across a nebulous field, While a dragon soars, its fiery breath concealed.
The oak becomes a phoenix, rising from the flame, As the willow turns to a mermaid, singing her name. The birch transforms into an ancient sage, Whispering wisdom from a bygone age.
In this altered state, my perception expands, I glimpse a world where imagination commands. The trees in the sky become my guides, Revealing secrets that the universe hides.
But as the intoxication slowly fades, And reality resumes its familiar shades, The vision subsides, a fleeting dream, Yet its essence lingers, a lingering gleam.
So let the trees in the sky be a reminder to me, That within the ordinary, magic can be set free. In moments of altered perception, I find, A universe of wonders, boundless and kind.
