Sorry spills out of my mouth like a river, Flowing endlessly, it makes me quiver,

For every little thing, I feel the need to apologize, Even if it's not my fault, I still vocalize.

I can't help but feel like I'm always in the wrong, And I fear that I'm weak, and don't belong,

So I keep saying sorry, as if it's a cure, For the pain and hurt, that I'm not sure.

But sometimes, sorry isn't the answer, And I need to find a way, to be bolder,

To stand up for myself, and take control, And let my strength, and confidence, unfold.

For saying sorry, can sometimes weaken me, And make me feel like I can't be free,

So I must learn, to balance my apologies, And find the right way, to communicate my stories.

For though it's important, to take responsibility, And apologize when it's necessary,

It's also important, to value myself, And know when to speak up, and not just sit on the shelf.

So I'll try to say sorry, only when it's right, And not let it control me, like a parasite,

For I am strong, and worthy of respect, And it's time for me, to take charge and direct.
