I wake up each morning, feeling a little bit old, My body aches, my bones creak, and my story is told,

Of years gone by, of memories made, And I can't help but feel, a little bit weighed.

The mirror shows lines, etched deep on my face, And wrinkles and creases, that time can't erase,

And I wonder how it is, that I got to this place, Where I feel so old, and life's just a race.

But then I remember, the things that I've done, The places I've been, and the battles I've won,

And I realize that age, is just a number, it's true, And it's all the experiences, that make me feel new.

For though my body may age, my spirit remains, And my heart is still young, with passion and flames,

And the memories I've made, they're etched in my soul, And they'll stay with me, as I continue to grow old.

So I embrace this feeling, of being a little bit old, And I celebrate the stories, that I have yet to be told,

For though time may pass, and the years may go by, My spirit remains young, and my heart will always fly.
