The world as we knew it, now gone
A memory of what once belonged
The sky a grey and bitter hue
As the end, it finally drew
The cities lay in ruins, still Silent streets,
where laughter shrill Once echoed,
now a hollow sound As the world,
it crumbled to the ground
The oceans rose, the land did shake
All that we built, a poor mistake Nature's wrath,
we couldn't tame as the end, it came with no claim
The stars above, once bright and clear
Now hidden, by a thickened atmosphere
The moon, a red and ominous sight
As the end, it brought us to the fight
We tried to save, what we could save
But in the end, it was all a grave
The past, now a haunting dream
As the end, it was our final theme
But in the ashes, hope still blooms
For those who outlived their doomed
A new world, to start anew As the end,
it marked a fresh start too.
