How exactly does Vercoin work?

There is an official Vertcoin One-Click miner app that works by using your GPU's processing power to solve hashes which are required to mine a block. With the official One-Click miner you are mining in a pool which means the processing power of thousands or millions of people is aimed towards mining a block. Those rewards are then split across all of those people who then use it for whatever they can, and want to. The One-Click miner features an integrated wallet and only one click needed to start mining which allows anyone with a decent PC to make a quick buck and spend it online on all kinds of goods.

Should i mine vertcoin?

As of now the price of Vertcoin is very low and does not make it profitable for mining over ETH, RVN, and others.

However I do believe that it will skyrocket someday and that does not make it a bad idea to start mining some as of today and holding it for some period of time until the price rises.
