Hello everyone! Bringing you our first update since community staking went live back on December 15.

Update

For starters, we have our first delegator! One user has delegated over 10,000 Matic to Vault Staking, and we will be purchasing Matic to bring our total to over 100,000. In the meantime, I’ve been active on Matic’s Discord helping new validators come online and working with new delegators. We should have some more delegators joining shortly when gas prices are cheaper.

Some Good News!

Vault Staking recently received $1,000 in free AWS hosting through the AWS Activate Founders Program! We also purchased a savings plan through AWS, which cut our monthly bill by 60%! With the new hosting credits and savings plan, we expect to be able to run throughout 2021 for free! We also plan on investing more in redundant hardware to ensure we never miss a block, because missing a block means no staking rewards for you or us.

Since we are able to drastically minimize our hosting costs, we are drastically reducing our commission as well! We are lowering our commission to 3%. Lower commission means more staking rewards for our delegators.

Currently, there are 78 validators up and running. Vault Staking is one of the most reliable, cost effective, and dedicated among them.

• We are 1 of only 12 validators that have 100% uptime. We haven't missed a single block since our inception almost 3 months ago. Missed blocks mean missed rewards; don't settle for less!
• At 3%, we will have one of the lowest commission out of the community validators. Most of the 0% commission validators are new and have yet to update their commission.
• Matic is our largest crypto holding, followed by Ethereum and Bitcoin. We are dedicated to the network, our validator, and our delegators.
