Today I am resharing some pictures that I generated in starryai last month and in early January. It's amazing just how far AI can go. I love the beautiful snow-covered trees in the picture below. To me, it looks like a masterful painter created magic with their brush on canvas. I didn't ask specifically for night scenery but the AI decided that a winter landscape looks nice after dark.

The same prompt and method created a similar forest with dreamy pink and purple tones in the sky. The colors are so soft and pretty, it almost feels like a fairytale land. I can almost feel the wind blowing through the branches... aaaand suddenly I started feeling cold, thinking that it's -20 degrees outside and piercing 20 m/s wind...

Okay, I'm still in my warm room, so I can go on with my winter pictures - the same prompt and style settings. I don't know if I'm imagining that it tried creating the Milky Way in the sky. I guess it's just my imagination.

How about some Alpine views? I so wish I could go on a winter trip...
The frozen lake looks so nice. I would take a walk on it right away. I actually don't know if the ice cover in the Alps is strong enough to carry a human. In Northern Europe, this is very typical. The ice on lakes can be 10 cm or even more and it doesn't take months for that to form. Even the Baltic sea freezes. People go for walks, skating or even skiing.

The next picture produced with the same settings as the previous looks so nice and homely, especially with the contrast between the warm lights of the houses and the gloomy sky.

Next we have a picturesque view towards a similar looking village but this time during daytime.

These were starting to look quite realistic, so I decided to explicitly ask for a photorealistic image where I specify that I want an aerial view towards the mountains, using a wide-angle lens, and so on. The results are scary. I mean, beautiful, but one starts thinking about how long it will take for AI to become a better photographer than most people.

One more aerial view. This time the AI added lakes, too. I really like the contrast between the autumn colours and the blue water. The picture could be better in the sense that somehow it decided to blur some of the trees - a bit like they are out of depth of field maybe? I'm not quite sure.
