Valiant Comics - creators of the comic book series, Valiant - have been hard at work bringing about an entirely new world, a Metaverse. With the recent addition of a few core members from the Banano crypto team, Justin Shenkarow, contributions by Jyothee, and help from Mr. PinkNFT, exciting things are already happening.

The first of which, the launching of their Discord server, with a place to gather and share projects, they started releasing POAPs, or Proof-of-Attendance-Protocols. This was a way to reward people who have stuck around and participated in the various events surrounding the Valiant metaverse since its inception.

With a solid base now set, they launched their website - https://nft.valiantentertainment.com/. With all the information you need from the roadmap, character releases and more, and just in time too as that’s how they planned on launching their next item - the Season 1 Genesis Mint Pass!

With only 500 passes available to mint directly from their website, it took just one day for all 500 to be scooped up, going to over 472 unique addresses - all while battling Discord API issues.

The mint pass gives whoever holds it free mints for the first SIX character NFTs, access to premium gaming utility for their upcoming play-to-earn game, access to presale Valiant drops, and more! There were some people who tried to flip the passes, and some did - however the team says their goal is to make those people wish they hadn’t tried to make a quick buck. With the laundry list of things they have in store,  the full utility of these passes alone hasn’t even been released. That means that we're close to the first Valiant Metaverse character - Punk Mambo. A bad-ass voodoo sorceress, Punk Mambo is a perfect way to launch the Valiant series collection! The release date for these has finally been set, and there will be 4001 Punk Mambo NFTs available on February 20th for a price of 0.077 ETH, or about $25. If you’ve got the Mint Pass, remember that you can mint one NFT of each character for free so the initial 0.3 ETH investment is worth a minimum of 0.462 ETH in NFTs alone.

Overall, I’m very much looking forward to what the Valiant project has in store. There is a strong core team behind it and it’s only getting more exciting. They have already done collaborations with other communities including Royal Society of Players, Spoiled Banana Society, Knights of Degen, cryptomonKeys and more. Their continued growth while working hard to right-wrongs and constantly improve is a very nice feeling in an overwhelming space.
