🏕 Abandoned Summer Camp MECHTA

By valerianis | Valerian Kadyshev | 16 Jun 2022

I was bored so I thought it would be a good idea to visit the abandoned summer camp. This time around it was MECHTA (or Dream in English) near to Krasny Yar which is in the Samara Region.

The camp is quite large and has lots of sports grounds.

Several swings are standing still. There is an iron labyrinth and even a fortress for kids to play in.

And here celebrations were held and the Soviet flag was raised.

But the whole area is now deserted. From what I've seen, the power grid is intact.

And the fence is in a decent condition. It is somewhere broken, somewhere decayed due to advancing nature.

There are many abandoned buildings to explore, but I tried to stay sneaky and pass the security guard who lives in a far corner of the camp.
