The tap-to-earn game on Telegram, MemeFi, has announced its token launch for November, now opting for the Sui network instead of Ethereum’s layer-2 network, Linea.

Just weeks before the token release and airdrop, the MemeFi development team revealed the switch to the Sui network, sharing further details on the planned launch.

Initially, MemeFi was being developed on Ethereum's layer-2 scaling solution, Linea. However, on Friday, the team confirmed that the token will be launched on Sui, a layer-1 blockchain. The developers have partnered with Mysten Labs, the creators of Sui, to roll out coordinated initiatives for the launch, which include marketing campaigns and plans to introduce users to the broader Sui ecosystem.

According to an announcement on Telegram, “MemeFi aims to integrate Sui into Telegram with ambitious plans ahead. In-app features and airdrop campaigns will familiarize users with Sui — its speed, low costs, and smooth experience will be instantly noticeable.”
