The news is starting to trickle out that the arguably one of the NFL's most successful franchises (although perhaps not this season), the New England Patriots, has partnered with blockchain technology company Chain as a web3 sponsor. This partnership definitely hits different than the Crypto.Com Stadium in Los Angeles; Chain is a reputable web3 technology company, focused on creating web 3 innovation throughout multiple sectors- and that's just what Chain will be doing for the Patriots. In fact, the entire Gillette Stadium and the other professional club that plays there, the Major League Soccer team the New England Revolution; focusing on finding ways to integrate web3 into the customer experience through its technology and resources.
The partnership actually takes place between Chain and Kraft Group of Sports and Entertainment, who owns said professional teams, and the real estate involved in the partnership. The Kraft Group has been a family business for decades and is ranked by Forbes as one of the top 90 private companies in the world. With Chain's dedication to actual building and promoting web3 products, this will be a very interesting partnership to keep an eye on.
