We now it all to well: Google is 'the' search engine and it functions as the sole gatekeeper of the internet. Google is the search engine behind more than 85% of all searches and this has huge implications as it allows Google's search algorithms to control the stream of information. Yet, this only after the European Commission started cracking down on the search giant, and fined Google with a $9,4 billion bill. One of the long-expected lawsuits complaints is the way Google harms competitors: by issuing distribution agreements, Google allows companies who pay millions of dollars to be prioritized in its search engine. The Google antitrust case is only comparable to the Microsoft lawsuit filed in 1998.
In another case Google is facing potential legal action from several sources, including censorship of political speech and spreading fake news. According to Chris Sagers, a laws professor at Cleveland State University, a new era for smaller search engines is upon us.

Google is centralized, both in management as in data storage. Gartner estimated that Google has more than 2.5 million servers, located in large data centers used to provide Google services. Its computer nodes are organized in aisles of racks.
Google's data centers are located in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
Presearch.
Presearch operates on decentralized nodes that can be installed by anyone on a computer or server. As a node operator, you attribute to Presearch by crawling the web and giving the user who did a search query the information he/she was looking for.
In return for providing these services a node operator can earn PRE rewards for staking PRE tokens. All these nodes run in the DOCKER software environment. Anyone can run a Presearch Node. It can be a profitable passive income generator!
Presearch privacy vs Google identity mining.

Google stores user information for some time and if needed the government can use the terms under the Patriot Act to make that information available. Privacy International, a UK-based registered charity defending privacy, has raised concerns about the imminent danger of having such a centrally located, widely popular data warehouse, subject to possible governmental overreach. Technology used by Google even allows it to make a complete portrait of a user by name, based upon everything they write in email, every website they visit, and every search they conduct.
Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has raised concerns that students privacy may be breached, despite talks with the Department of Education in 2018. Google shares information requests without review or approval by any court or judge. Rather disgusting behavior!

Presearch has made it essential to its project to protect your privacy! It does not track you or store your searches, and queries are handled by a decentralized network of node servers processing anonymized queries. It allows you to use the internet in your house, and whatever you do on the computer you bought and paid for is yours and yours only. Full privacy is the default!
Presearch has no business-model that uses your private searches (you search the internet in your home on a computer you paid for!), for any economical profiteering. It is time to take back control, and Presearch is one of many decentralized projects aiming to restore your basic human rights!
Presearch rewards you or you reward Google: your choice!
Google.
Google doesn't reward its users. It only rewards its shareholders. Whatever Googles practices are, as long as the share goes up, you have happy shareholders who aren't bothered by privacy issues or other malpractices. But there is a catch: Google shares are USD based, they are denominated in USD currency. What happens to a rising share-price in a devaluing currency? Right. So Google goes up but the USD goes down. It's worth a thought.

When you become a Presearch community member, you can earn Presearch reward tokens:

- By operating a node;
- By referring others to join Presearch;
- In the near future, new opportunities will arise.
Presearch has no shareholders, all the project's value is driven into the PRE tokens, and it will ultimately be owned and controlled by a non-profit foundation.
