This is just a quick post in case you are wondering who 'Uncryptic' is or why you are following him here on Publish0x. It's me, Technically Product - I've just changed my username.
I started writing on Publish0x as a spinoff from my self-published digital marketing blog, Technically Product. I needed a home for some crypto-related pieces that didn't really fit in with my posts about web analytics or online advertising, and Publish0x was perfect for that.
As a freelance analyst, I then started picking up work as a result of the posts I was publishing on Technically Product. But I was sharing all my writing - crypto and non-crypto - through the same set of social accounts. That must have been odd for anyone following me! While I suspect that most crypto enthusiasts have at least a passing interest in analytics (we can read a price chart, after all), I doubt that many of my freelance clients have an interest in crypto.
This was really driven home to me when I used a free tool called Abbrevia.me to summarise what was Twitter account was all about. It threw this up:

Nothing about crypto or digital marketing, just 'technology' generally (and a bunch of other stuff besides). If I wanted to grow my presence, I needed to have more focus.
So I've decided to keep my digital marketing side as Technically Product, but rebrand my crypto side to Uncryptic. It means 'straightforward or easy to follow', which is what I aim for with my writing.
I'm also in the process of setting up new socials under the Uncryptic name - you can already find me on Twitter @uncrypticcrypto. In some ways it's like starting from scratch, but I think it will be worth it in the long term. If you use Twitter too and feel like giving me a follow, I'd appreciate it.
Finally I've moved over my Twitter list of Publish0x people to my new Twitter account - you'll now find it here:

Twitter is being a bit flaky about letting me add new people to the list, so I'm stuck at 48 members at the moment. But as soon as those gremlins go away (thanks, Elon!), I'll get everyone else added.
This year I'm determined to make a proper go of both my digital marketing and crypto writing, now under two separate names. Exciting times - let's go...
