The first I really hear about Shiba Inu was that if you invested $2 in early January 2021 you would have become a millionaire. https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/02/09/invested-100-in-shiba-inu-1-year-ago-how-much-now/ This is what my crypto dreams are made of. Except for the fact I did not invest any money in Shiba Inu, or any other cryptocurrency at that time. Oh the missed opportunity.
This was somewhat of a turning point for me in the "I will never invest in cryptocurrency," "cryptocurrency is stupid" line of thinking to maybe I should consider it as an option. Don't get me wrong, I do not expect the roughly 46 million return on investment that Shiba gave at that time. It just started the thaw in my rigid thinking. I missed out on the Dot.com boom. I do not want to miss out on this one as well.
So, after doing some non-scientific research about Shiba Inu, I have come to the conclusion that although my emotions want to believe Shiba Inu is something to invest in, it is mathematically impossible for it to reach the some type of return on investment as it did in the past. I briefly invested in it and made a little profit before it dropped 25%.
There were initially 500 Trillion, yes with a "T" Shiba Inu Coins. https://capital.com/how-many-shiba-inu-coins-are-there-in-the-world Even with https://www.shibburn.com/ there are too many tokens for it to be a long term investment for me at this time. I love the idea and missed out on the incredible ROI in the past, there does not seem to be a great future.
Maybe there will be a lot of development for the coin in the future> i hear and have read about the Shibaverse. We will see as time goes on.
Remember, I am just someone new to cryptocurrency and am writing my thoughts down as I go through the journey of learning. This post is not financial advice. I know nothing about cryptocurrency. Please do not take advice from this post as it is for entertainment and thought purposes only.
