@DIAdata_org stands for Decentralised Information Asset
It is a multi-chain, end-to-end, open-source data and oracle platform for #Web3
To understand it, we need to have a basic understanding of what #Oracles do
Oracles are third-party services that fulfill a critical use case in Web3
In simple terms, An oracle is a bridge between the blockchain and the real world
It serves as an entity that connects smart contracts to external resources or valuable off-chain information
Oracles play a crucial role as the external data they feed on-chain can trigger predefined actions of the smart contract
However, this dependence of smart contracts on oracles for data makes them vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation, especially if the data is sourced from single endpoints
DIA enables sourcing, validation, and sharing of transparent and verified data feeds
Data is extracted from multiple on-chain and off-chain sources, including exchange APIs (CEXs and DEXs) and smart contracts
These data feeds are securely stored and can be fully customized (including the methodologies and choice of sources) before being delivered through Oracles & APIs
DIA is cross-chain and helps blockchain interoperability by seamlessly exchanging and transferring relevant information through easily integrated oracles on all supported blockchains
The ingested raw data is computed and sanitized off-chain based on fully transparent methodologies to avoid temporary off-data and outliers DIA platform is thus an open-source ecosystem that brings together data providers, users, and DAO community members
Data collection happens through an open community of devs who build scrapers to connect new data sources with the DIA platform Governors/validators is a community of token holders who discuss/vote to improve the platform
They validate features and govern the DIA Association
That said, DIA is integrated with 25+ #L1 and #L2 networks and has secured 60+ partnerships with Web3 applications offering diverse use-cases DIA’s institutional-grade data feeds cover asset prices, metaverse data, lending rates, and more
DIA's price feed oracles are powering @AstridDAO, the Multi-collateral and decentralized stablecoin running on the @AstarNetwork
DIA delivers crowd-sourced data feeds to the @starlay_fi running on the Astar network
DIA's open-source oracles have enabled the launch of a single staking option vault and the listing of Metis as a token on @dopex_io
Dopex users can write call options on METIS or buy call options on METIS
DIA provides oracles to enable on-chain swapping operations on @hummusdefi on the @MetisDAO Andromeda network
DIA collects live trading data on the blockchain for all NFT transactions on the integrated blockchains
Data is sourced directly from the origin and allows precise market data
@ZumerProtocol has integrated DIA’s #NFT Floor Price oracle
