To put it bluntly, gas wars & gas fee’s on Ethereum are abhorrent. Even the cost for an indie artist to commit their smart contracts to the Ethereum Blockchain costs upwards and in excess of $3000 USD!
That puts a barrier in front of artists instead of making a space for all of them. To further the issues, sometimes the gas fee’s cost more than the NFT itself, and that to me is exactly the opposite direction a blockchain should be taking.
Less accessible, more expensive, and putting a strain on artists trying to build something for themselves. The overall space has shrunk, and has become a bit overwhelmed with quick runs to wealth, over the slow and sustainable gains meant to support artists' long term, in their pursuit of skill and community!
A Revolution is coming.
With this highly inflationary trajectory, there is little choice but to move towards more open and fair spaces that people can grow new ideas in, further individuals in their ambitions, and help everyone involved to prosper together around amazingly innovative ideas.
Polygon was our first choice, we considered many options, and polygon seemed to fit the bill for a more long term project like ours.
Little to near-non existent gas fee’s is a great start, which then becomes a vehicle to quell gas wars. Which achieves exactly what we want: more accessibility, and affordability!
This just seems fair. No NFT of ours should cost more in gas fee’s than what we're asking for to fund our series and your animated expanded universe!
And of course, THE ENVIRONMENT.
We all get to some point in our crypto/NFT experience where the questions arises about the growing energy demand, and the hasty adoption of new tech that pushes these boundaries. And the entire team at Twitch Pixel cares passionately about the environment. Our show is rife with environmental impact, oozing with social satire about it.
With Polygon (MATIC), a large focus of their Level 2 Branch off the Ethereum chain, was to address many of its energy intensive issues, and find a more balanced approach to operations and commits to the Ethereum Blockchain.
The decisions made at its inception have shaped the Polygon ecosystem, address many of these issues, with a vocal community behind it help drive it’s direction.

We want to grow, not stifle, we want to feed, not choke, and we want to prosper WITH our community, not as they stand by watching.
Flair Finance’s commitment to the polygon route when we first started our partnership with them, had a big impact on our decision. And they stood up for it for good reason, they saw this coming, and even built their platform around a more sustainable model.
Doing NFT’s with Flair!
We have scaled and honed our ideas to be completely doable, and we see success if we can fund the budget to meet these goals demands. But that doesn’t mean they are not ambitious.
And with larger goals comes time to deliver, and within that time comes risk of failure.
To mitigate the risk to our supporters Flair.Finance will power our back end for funding our projects, through a Kickstarter style 90 day campaign, (Dropping November 30th!) with a slow drip release of funds to us to help us build and keep us accountable, and the ability to return NFT’s for supporters peace of mind.
With this security, NFT supporters get VIP Access to all our back channels where they can engage with our team directly as we work throughout the week on our main show.
Of course once a week they can also engage further with our “Live Story Time” events, where as a community we develop an animated short, featuring your NFT characters, to be fully voiced, animated, produced, and released for the world to see!

It’s difficult to decide on such a critical part of our Journey, a choice in crypto means an allegiance to a new technology, but we see a future with MATIC, and a safer space for our community to thrive through it.
