I've made the decision to burn all of my artwork that was housed on the DeSo Blockchain for a number of reasons. Firstly, since DeSo made the switch to livepeer it has been horrible for many users onchain. My music videos are no longer available/viewable. This is kinda ridiculous, I feel like any social media network needs quality video uploads in order to be successful. Second, I feel as though I have wasted a lot of valuable time in an echo chamber. This doesn't need much elaboration, DAU has been dropping for months. But the cherry on top is an incompetent core team & founder. Countless times the community has verbalized exactly why we're disappointed in DeSo only to be ignored. The devs who are hosting their own nodes are sinking and that seems to be perfectly fine with the core team. In fact, they're just going to launch more core founded apps (even though all previous attempts were failures to retain DAU.) At the end of the day, I no longer trust the founders, nor do I really trust or believe in the long term success of the project. For the duration of the bear I will be rebuilding on more relevant marketplaces such as opensea and Rarible. Currently remastering all of my old work & animating it. I'm minting publicly at my own pace. Will keep updating ✌️
