This is my first post, nothing big, just a bit of an intro.

I don't plan on doing selfies but I may post or link to galleries of places I visit and events I experience.

I am retired, and handicapped. I am a geek and a nerd. I played D&D, been a professional cook and baker, drove truck for a bit, married, had kids late in life (37 years old when they were born), got my first computer, a TRS-80, back in 1979, with my brother, first found the internet from my C=64 back in 1989, and love sports.

I am originally from the Philadelphia (Philly), Pa, area, but the last 10 years I have lived in the upstate of South Carolina, a small city, Spartanburg. I am nothing special, but am opinionated about some things. I am on multiple social networks but looking to move away from the established ones like Facebook, and Instagram, and even a slide away from TikTok, to more decentralized networks.

I am sort of small time active on crypto, and do like to check out some of the sites offered here on Publish0x, but I have been staying away from Etherium based networks since even though the blockchain is stable and the coding is good, the costs are more than I want to deal with. My favorite crypto chain is tezos, I like the things I can do with them, and have my coins staked through my wallet. I started with Coinbase, and still use it to buy and move crypto, but try to keep a minimum amount of any coin there. Although I have moved away from Bitcoin, it is the monster that seems to rule crypto so I like to keep track of it.
