World Order

By troynamps | Troy Poetry | 26 Mar 2020

Peace is not the absence of war

Neither is it presence of harmony.

Peace

should begin with the absence of

I

in me - seeing the world

As an Us village,

One big happy community.

Me, You, Us

How does one preach peace

Whilst setting borders for the neighbours

And in times of scarcity they shout;

"This is mine and mine alone!?"

The charity that began at home

Is selfless

and ready to lend a hand

At any given time

Henceforth,

Let's shift the narrative

And redefine the world order

To erect peace

And eject the oppositions.

Even wolves can smile,

So can you
