Covid-19 Part 2

Covid-19 Part 2

By troynamps | Troy Poetry | 24 Mar 2020

When we are done worrying,
Let's collect
All minute fragments of hope
Rid all the worries
And heed the songs from within

There's a melody playing,
A soft harmony
Emanating from beyond the smoke.
There's a little man,
Called future - singing
Healing songs,
His lyrics are antidotes
A cure to the pain in our hearts

As we soldier on
Brethren look not behind,
If you do
Let there be not any regrets
Seek accountability for your actions
Rather.

At that time
The burning sun is frozen,
And we will dance under the rainbow
After the new rains have come
To wash away the past
