Somehow you knew this would begin to happen. The defi projects of other blockchains, yield farms, and staking incentives would begin to deflect from Bitcoin's market cap. That's what you see here today as Bitcoin flounders around under $40,000 failing to keep any real gains. 

      Yet some other blockchains are seeing massive gains during this time. The Terra blockchain is going absolutely batshit right now. Last week Terra (LUNA) saw three days in which the coin gained 30%, making some of the blockchains supporters quite wealthy, yet, Luna whales keep holding. Terra has its defi platforms and yield farms to thank for such massive gains. 

        Another blockchain that has been finding some real gains recently is THORchain (RUNE). THORchain advertises itself as a decentralized liquidity network, boasting that it allows you to swap native coins throughout several networks with ease. And in fact, RUNE has reached a 4 week gaining of about 165%. 

       With these type of numbers abound, its easy to see why having a diverse portfolio is the main goal for crypto enthusiasts everywhere. Even Bitcoin's greatest supporters know not to put all their eggs into one basket.
