I haven't been out much lately ...
I'm not trying to be sarcastic, it was just a reality check.
So it is time to search on the external disk looking for photographic memories through which it is possible to tell a story, in this case the story behind these photographic records.
It is not an eccentric story full of interest, it was a simple family outing, with the children and grandmothers, on a Sunday stroll, all calm and serene.
The intention was to take a stroll through a place where the grandmothers had not been for a long time, and what a better place than Gerês, but in this case and as the grandmothers are no longer energetic to venture between ascents and descents in the middle from the rocks, we decided to stay there next to the village of Gerês in the Parque das Termas, a very accessible and protected place, crossed by a stream that brings the water that rises in the mountains above.
While they were entertained by taking a walk around the place or simply enjoying the whole surrounding area, in the midst of an absolutely fascinating and magical environment, i took the opportunity to take some pictures of which today i make a brief selection.
Today, more than ever, i miss spending a weekend in this place that i have chosen for a long time as a refuge, where i organize and charge my energy.
It may be the first destination after the restrictions to which we are currently subject are lifted.
Spending a weekend, spending a day or an hour, whatever, as long as i spend there, simply because i need to.
While it is not possible, i have to be content with the Santa Justa mountain range, which despite being something out of the ordinary due to the characteristics i have already mentioned in previous posts, it is not and will never be something that resembles Gerês.
Tomorrow i want to make a trail through the mountains in the expectation of going through new paths and making new records, but they end up informing that there is a possibility of rain tomorrow ... seriously? this already seems like a huge conspiracy against my sanity.
Maybe they are wrong and tomorrow i wake up with a few rays of sunlight coming through the window, I see soon.
