Coco’s Restaurant in Japan

By cryotosensei | travelinJapan | 9 Dec 2025

A visit to Coco’s Restaurant not only filled my tummy, but also yielded much food for thought. I might have zero expectations prior to entering this family restaurant, but it ticked all the boxes for a family-friendly eatery - and then some. From the get-go, my restless daughter’s urge to act wild was preempted smoothly even before she saw the menu. Coco’s had thoughtfully provided colouring papers and crayons for energetic children who need to while their time away. 121096 121097 They also pulled out all the stops for the kid’s meal. Empathetic to the wants of children, it arrived earlier than us adults’ orders. My daughter’s attention was captured by the toy that came as a souvenir. A packet of ketchup was placed next to her fries, and even her chopsticks were enclosed in a cute bear holder. Her appetite was whetted by the jelly and she chose to eat that first. Which provided some reprieve for us! 121098 I have always been infatuated with Japan, and I think that I have found new reasons to deepen my love for it now that I have discovered the child-friendliness side of it. Visit Japan!
