Trekking z plaży Saracen na plażę "Lazy" na wyspie Koh Rong Sanloem - moja podroż po Azji - Kambodża
It might seem that crossing a 1.5 km stretch from beach to beach is a light walk. Anyone who has never been to the jungle will probably say that.
Mogło by się wydawać, że przejście odcinka 1,5 km z plaży na plażę, to jest jakiś lajtowy spacerek. Pewnie powie tak każdy, kto nigdy nie był w dżungli.
Being by the sea, even when the heat reaches 40 degrees Celsius, is not so noticeable. The sea breeze makes the air cooler, pleasant and the conditions are almost comfortable.
Przebywanie nad samym morzem, nawet jak upał sięga 40 stopni Celsjusza, nie jest aż tak odczuwalny. Morska bryza bowiem powoduje, że powietrze jest chłodniejsze, przyjemne i warunki są wręcz komfortowe.
The situation is different when we suddenly have to go inland. The temperature is rising, and the humidity reaching almost 100% means that there is nothing to breathe. It is a bit like being in a steam sauna, only that we sit freely there, and in the jungle we have to move around.
Inaczej ma się sytuacja, gdy nagle musimy iść w głąb lądu. Temperatura wzrasta, a wilgotność sięgająca prawie 100% powoduje, że nie ma czym oddychać. Przypomina to trochę przebywanie w saunie parowej, tyle tylko, że tam sobie swobodnie siedzimy, a w dżungli musimy się przemieszczać.
We were lucky that the route had already been cleared, and there was no need to wave a machete. At the time of writing, asphalt is probably already laid there, or at least concrete slabs, and transport is running smoothly.
Mieliśmy to szczęście, że trasa została już wykarczowana, i nie trzeba było machać maczetą. W chwili, kiedy to piszę prawdopodobnie położony jest już tam asfalt, albo przynajmniej płyty betonowe, i transport odbywa się płynnie.
Nevertheless, this short trekking route stayed in my memory, and I remember it fondly. The beach called "Lazy" is completely different from the famous beaches on the Koh Rong islands. It's mostly yellow sand which we missed a bit. It is located on the other side of Sanloem Island, so it offers unique sunsets, which I prefer, however.
Niemniej jednak, ta krótka trasa trekkingowa została w mojej pamięci, i mile ją wspominam. Plaża o nazwie "Lazy" jest zupełnie odmienna od znanych plaż na wyspach Koh Rong. Jest przede wszystkim z żółtym piaskiem, za czym trochę tęskniliśmy. Położona jest po drugiej strony wyspy Sanloem, dlatego oferuje unikalne zachody słońca, co jednak bardziej preferuję.
It has its own unique atmosphere, it is intimate, quiet, but the wind can cause a lot of trouble there, and releasing the drone was quite risky. We spent the whole day there, until the sunset, which was phenomenal and unique. The setting sun turned almost red.
Ma swój niepowtarzalny klimat, jest kameralna, cicha, ale wiatr potrafi tam nieźle narozrabiać, i puszczanie drona było dość ryzykowne. Spędziliśmy tam cały dzień, aż do zachodu słońca, który był zjawiskowy i niepowtarzalny. Zachodzące słońce stało się niemal czerwone.
