Gili is three tiny islands located close to each other, not far from the large island of Lombok. They belong to Indonesia. They are relatively small, you can walk around them in about 1-1.5 hours.
Gili to trzy malutkie wyspy położone blisko siebie, niedaleko dużej wyspy Lombok. Należą do Indonezji. Są stosunkowo małe, można obejść je na piechotę w około 1-1,5 godziny.
Today I will tell you briefly about the island of Gili Meno. The islet is the second, or if you prefer, the middle island of this small archipelago. There are also Gili Air, which is closest to Lombok, and Gili Trawagan, which is furthest from Lombok.
Dzisiaj opowiem krótko o wyspie Gili Meno. Wysepka jest drugą, albo jak kto woli środkową wyspą tego małego archipelagu. Oprócz niej są jeszcze Gili Air, położona najbliżej wyspy Lombok, oraz Gili Trawagan położona najdalej od wyspy Lombok.
Gili Meno is an island where sea turtles are one of the attractions. Meno is an oasis of peace because there is no diesel transport on the island. There are horse-drawn carriages and sometimes an electric scooter. So we can be sure that a bunch of spoiled tourists will not go crazy on scooters.
Gili Meno to wyspa na której jedną z atrakcji są żółwie morskie. Meno to oaza spokoju, ponieważ nie ma na wyspie żadnego transportu spalinowego. Pojawiają się bryczki konne a czasami skuter elektryczny. Więc mamy pewność, że banda rozwydrzonych turystów nie będzie szalała na skuterach.
On the island we can find the so-called pink beaches. Their color is the result of the decay of corals that contain a pink pigment. Mixed with white sand, it gives the impression that the beach is pink. A very pleasant view.
Na wyspie możemy znaleźć tak zwane różowe plaże. Ich kolor to wynik rozpadu koralowców, które zawierają różowy pigment. Pomieszany z białym piaskiem sprawia wrażenie, że plaża jest różowa. Bardzo przyjemny widok.
