Everything was right on this island from the start. The name of the island is Gili Air, and air in Indonesian is simply water.

Na tej wyspie wszystko zgadzało się od samego początku. Nazw wyspy to Gili Air, a air po indonezyjsku to po prostu woda.

And so it was. From the moment we arrived on the island, we were greeted by the water. Constant rainfall accompanied us for 2 days, so we decided to move to another island.

No i tak też było. Od samego przybycia na wyspę przywitała nas woda. Ciągłe opady deszczu towarzyszył nam przez 2 dni, więc postanowiliśmy przenieść się na kolejną wyspę.

Interestingly, Gili Meno is located a few kilometers from Gili Air, but there was no rain there.

Co ciekawe Gili Meno położona jest kilka kilometrów od Gili Air, ale tam już deszcz nie padał.

We booked the accommodation literally from the restaurant, right after arriving on the island. There were no problems.

Rezerwację noclegu robiliśmy dosłownie z knajpki, zaraz po przyjeździe na wyspę. Nie było najmniejszych problemów.

The island, of course, lacks public transport. Moving around the island is horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, or electric scooters.

Wyspa oczywiście pozbawiona transportu publicznego. Przemieszczanie się po wyspie, to konne bryczki, rowery, ewentualnie skutery elektryczne.
