Last year I decided to start selling my photos in stock. Lots of photos are on the disk and I will never do anything with them, so I looked through them and chose the ones that might be useful to someone. Unfortunately, this is a tedious and time-consuming process.

So far, since March 2020, I have uploaded 947 photos. Until then, only 6 photos had been sold - 5 photos for 10 cents and one for $ 1.56. I think this is a poor result, but I hope it will look better over time. A year later, in September 2021, I have already added 1,277 photos. Their revenues so far totaled $ 8.11. So far, I have managed to get 40 downloads of my photos. The photos I add on stock photos are mostly travel photos. I noticed that the demand for this type of photos is unfortunately low, although they sell.

Why am I adding so many photos? I add most of the ones I have, whether they're nicely framed and tweaked or not. I do this because I read somewhere that people prefer to choose such photos than the beautiful ones, most often chosen by others. Such photos have usually been selected hundreds of times and used on many pages. Apparently, people are looking for fresh photos that have not been circulating on the internet for years in every post. Is it a good technique? I don't know, but I'm checking it :) My interesting observations show that the photos that are not processed sell more often than the photoshopped ones.
