Hakone Sightseeing Cruise

Hakone Sightseeing Cruise

I don't ride boats often...I don't ride boats at all. It's not that I hate it, it's just living in the Philippine city where there are not many lakes and rivers, boats are not a usual mode of transportation. For me riding boats is not for transportation but for liesure.

In our last trip to Japan, we visited Mt. Fuji and then took a sightseeing cruise in Hakone. It was a perfect day for a boat ride. The sky was a bit cloudy and the air was cool.

After alighting from the cable car, we made our way to the intricately designed boats that will take us on a tour.

The inside of the boat was spacious and the windows were wide to allow passengers a generous view of the lake and mountains.

We saw some smaller boats in the lake doing their own cruise.

While it's good enough in the inside of the boat, it won't be a satisfying experience if we didn't go outside and smell the fresh air. So even if it was cool we ventured out and breathe in the fresh Hakone air. It was chilly that day though so we had to go back rather quickly.

After we disembarked from the boat, we saw some people fishing. They are wearing thick jackets to protect them from the cold air and continued to enjoy their fishing.

After that, we took a bus for a long drive back to Tokyo.

It was a tiring day but it was a fun experience!
