Last night at around 9:45 PM, our driveway security camera captured a pair of unusual, glowing lights moving across the concrete. The two distinct spots traveled back and forth in tandem, mimicking the behavior of a light beam being projected from an unseen source. Oddly, there was absolutely no wind, weather changes, or other environmental disturbances at the time.
Intrigued, I went out to the garage to investigate and see if I could spot the lights with my own eyes. However, looking directly at the driveway, I saw nothing out of the ordinary. It wasn't until I reviewed the security footage later that I realized the lights remained clearly visible on the camera even while I was standing right outside. It appeared as though the camera's sensor was picking up some type of infrared or thermal signature invisible to the naked eye.
This strange phenomenon persisted for roughly 20 minutes before all of our security cameras abruptly went offline. When the system finally rebooted and came back online, the specific camera that had recorded the two lights experienced a severe exposure glitch, causing the nighttime feed to display as if it were bright daylight.
I have uploaded the video footage here: https://rumble.com/v7ayuam-mysterious-lights-captured-on-driveway-security-camera.html
Has anyone ever encountered a camera anomaly or phenomenon quite like this?
