BITCOIN Important short-term test of the 4H MA50.

This is a quick short-term update on Bitcoin . The price is close to the 4H MA50 and so far it has held three times on respective Higher Lows attempts. This is causing BTC to consolidate within a Triangle.

Triangle's are common within the dominant medium-term pattern, which since late October is a Bullish Megaphone and I have analyzed this extensively numerous times. Typically the short-term trend is defined by which side of the Triangle breaks first, but the critical role here is played by the 4H MA50. As long as it holds, the smooth bullish trend of the Megaphone is extended. If it breaks, then BTCUSD tests (or comes very close to) the 4H MA200 (happened twice on November 26 and December 11).

There is a very interesting way to know though when the 4H MA50 will break and that is by observing the RSI . As you see, every time the RSI crosses below 42.850, then Bitcoin breaks below its 4H MA50. So keep an eye on that. Below the 4H MA50, the price may approach the 4H MA200 near $20000, but as long as the 4H MA50 holds and the RSI doesn't break 42.850, then Bitcoin should easily break $25000.
