In a previous post we looked at some non-techie jobs available with blockchain companies advertised during the month of April. The main criteria being the jobs didn't require coding experience and could be done remotely rather than being tied to a certain location.
Without a doubt, the ones that peeked most interest in that article were the positions relating to writing content so when I came across the long list of vacancies at Crypto.com it was the role of Content Marketer & Blog Manager that first caught my attention.
No Shilling Allowed
Before looking further into the role though I'd best stress this isn't a shill for Crypto.com.
I'm not on any commission from them, I've never used their services personally and I don't hold any of their MCO or CRO tokens.
That being said, their reviews are generally decent (including from Youtube influencer CryptoDaily) and they certainly run enticing promotions as fellow publish0x writers have covered (see CryptoWizard's latest on Crypto.com's 50% off BTC offer as an example).
As always though, you're recommended to do your own research (in cryptos, stocks, art, life partner, etc) before investing... or applying for a job.
Ok, with that out of the way, let's move on.
Many Positions Available
If their vacancy list is anything to go by, Crypto.com are expanding rapidly. Currently, they are looking to fill mainly technical or customer service/PR positions in a number of countries. There are a couple of other content creator vacancies, but again, these are tied to certain offices. Whether that is good for you obviously depends on your own geographical location/ability to relocate and personal skill set.

Don't Tie Us Down
All of the above is great but what about those who wish to follow the growing trend of working from home?
The list here is smaller but does include:
- Crypto Community Manager (Italy, Israel, Nigeria,South Africa, Brazil, Taiwan, Korea)
- Inbound Marketing Manager
- and last but not least, the reason for this article: Content Marketing and Blog Manager
Content Marketing & Blog Manager
Now this is a position I'm confident one of the writers on publish0x could fill.
According to the advert blurb they "...are looking for a crypto and blockchain savvy, prolific and talented content creator to write and produce various types of downloadable content and blog regularly, to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills."
Sounds like a number of folk on this site, right?
The ad goes on in more of the same vein and suggests the successful candidate "...must have a knack and love for writing, a comprehensive understanding of the crypto and blockchain industry, proven experience in blogging to achieve business goals and top responsiveness."
C'mon, that's screaming at you to get our application in... but as always, we should check their other requirements before getting our hopes up.
One sign that they maybe more enlightened than many employers is that although the ad does mention a BA/BS degree, they will accept "equivalent working experience."
Other than that you should be able to offer:
- Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, promotions, new releases, social, etc.);
- Past experience building audiences either online or offline;
- A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions;
- Native English speaker or equally good proficiency in the English language;
- Bonus skills: multilingual.
In return they'll provide
- An attractive compensation package working in a cutting-edge field of Fintech;
- Huge responsibilities from Day 1. Be the owner of your own learning curve. The possibilities are limitless and depend on you;
- You get to work in a very dynamic environment and be part of an international team;
- You will get to have involvement in developing a brand-new product from scratch alongside with a talented team.
