Pi Network For Dummies Part One: What Is It And How To Use It?

By StarkMatan | Toddler Hodler | 5 Apr 2021

If you don't know, after bitcoin was introduced to public in 2008, and the first transactions were made, Gavin Andersen made a first bitcoin faucet. In this faucet, named, "The Bitcoin Faucet" you could get 5 BTC per person. Seems crazy nowadays, but that's a history fact. In fact, a lot of cryptos started doing this, to get access to more public. In our time, to my knowledge, there are few legitimate faucets, and even if they pay - they pay a fraction and now new cryptoprojects seems to be more interested in airdrops then faucets (a good website for tracking airdrops.)

In my opinion, if something looks too good to be true - it probably is. BUT, as we see with some early bitcoin faucets - it can happen from time to time.

And now, some people say, that PI Networks is looking too good to be true. And it might be, but there is a possibility, that it might not. If you are ready to gamble, here is everything you need to know:

Pi Coin

> What is Pi Network?

Decentralized, mobile first cryptocurrency.

>How to "mine" on Pi Network?

To "mine" you have to download the app, and click on the timer every 24 hours, the app does have a reminder, so you don't have to worry about missing the 'click'. The app has ads, to keep it running, but you can turn them off in settings.

> What are "Roles"?

  • Pioneer: User of the app, that clicks every 24 hours.

  • Contributor: After someone registred from you recommendation and refferal link, you can add them to your security circle, proving that he is, in fact, a human.

  • Ambassador: For each new user registred from your refferal link, you'll get a small bonus.

  • Node: Currently the project is on TestNet, and after launch you'll be able to set up a Node on a laptop, doing so doesn't provide more coins, for now.

If you decide to join, you don't need to worry about those for now, as in the app there is a detailed and self-explanatory instractions.

>How much the Pi Coin will be worh?

Well, now it has no real cost and before the launch of MainNet and listing, you cannot tell. If all goes according to their RoadMap, the coin will hit the Market in next two years, approximately.

There is nobody who can know what type of Market (Bull/Bear) we will have in two years, so to tell how well the coin, not yet listed anywhere will perform - it's an impossible task. One can only make an educated guess, and after reading a lot of articles, here are some magic numbers I've found:

Pessimistic Prediction After Launch

0 - 0.00001 USD

Realistic Prediction After Launch

0.001 - 0.01

Optimistic Prediction After Launch

0.1  - 1 USD

Only time wil tell, how well this project perform, but the only thing you need to do know, to take your chance is to download an app and click once every day, common, we all waste more time than that on stuff that doesn't have any possibility of reward donw the line.

So, if I have convinced you to join, feel free, but not obligated to use my refferal link:

Tune in tommorow, to see more in depth review of the app and all it's features.
