William Walcott: Good Evening All & Happy Wednesday!
Today's verse of the day is Psalm 91:1 NIV
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
No matter where you are and what you are going through brothers and sisters, God still wants to hear from you, even if you are angry with him. In your anger do not sin... still watch what you say. You can tell him you are angry. It's ok to let God know that you don't understand. Something that I really want people to understand is that we don't need to be in a perfect state of Holiness to come to God. We can come to God and repent and ask for forgiveness. He promises in His word that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. He promises that if we confess our sins...
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Have you ever thought I have gone and done it now... Have you ever messed up so bad, that you thought that you couldn't be restored or forgiven. Ever? When the people around you didn't believe in you because you messed up. There was someone who was cheering for you who loved you past your worst mistake or sin.... I am so glad that even when we feel like we have done the worst and every one walks away from us... That there is one who will never leave us or forsake us.... His name is Jesus and he says come as you are. I will help you.

Isaiah 1:18-19 The Lord says ",Come and let us talk about these things. Though your sins are like scarlet, they can be as white as snow. Though your sins are deep red, They can become white like wool. 19 If you become willing and obey me, you will eat good crops from the land.
Praise the Lord for his willingness to meet us where we are and forgive always... He takes us back when we go astray I'll take you back by Jeremy Camp https://youtu.be/yvgvYFxW_QM
We sometimes get angry when we don't understand something. For example I was angry when I couldn't find a job as quickly as I thought when I lost my job at the end of Jan. 2023 due to a layoff. However, I never lost my faith that God would provide for me and my family as He always has. I trusted that He would provide. He showed me that what He has for me is worth waiting for no matter how long it takes. What He has for you is better for you. Now I have a better job than I had Take heart you who doubt do you not understand how precious you are to God? God knows what you need and not one sparrow falls to the ground without God knowing about it. Therefore, you can take heart because you know you are more valuable to God than many sparrows.
Luke 12:22-26
22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[b]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

One picture that just stays with me is the Father seeing his son who messed up a long way off while the son did not even feel worth being called a son for what he did to his father. What does the Father do though..? He runs to him embraces him kisses him puts his best robe on him shoes for his feet and a ring for his finger then has a feast!
LUKE 15: 17-24
17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
Some of those here have been through some insane experiences that would have broke other people... But it didn't break you... You are still standing. Romans 8:28 All things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose for them.
James 4:8
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
