Now the other day I made steak and shrimp and it was so good I had to do a remake. Now this is the same thing but I made some twists to it. I know that at times the surf and turf is more of a steak and shrimp but I wanted to go and do a different twist to it. So I hope that you enjoy and as always tweak to your liking.
What you need:
4 chicken breast cubed
2 onions chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup green pepper chopped
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 tsp thyme
2 tsp canjun seasoning
1/4 tsp paprika
1 lb. shrimp cleaned and deveined
1tbsp hot sauce
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
What to do:
Brown chicken on both sides in a pan.
Place it into a pot(you will put it in their to slow cook)
Add celery, pepper onion and garlic into pan and sauté till tender.
Add Cajun season, thyme, tomatoes, paprika, and broth to the pot with the chicken.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Cook shrimp and remaining ingredients till done.
Serve chicken and shrimp over rice.
