I see a woman of seventy and a girl of seven, and they are both so equally lovely ; in wisdom and innocence.
I see a Boy, age 9 and a man aged 99, both having hearts of gold; and silver shining minds.

Why do we ask "how old are you?" And not how young most of the time?
Why is age one of the first things we ask other people and put on out profiles?
Is age what matters most to people?
We all know that time on this planet has a limit, but why do we remind ourselves of our time past and our time left?
When I worked a typical night shift job, I disliked it. Mostly because of the repetitiveness. There was something I noticed though about the time passing if I looked at the clock, only thinking of when it would end. The day would slow down and seem to take longer. But if my eyes were never on the clock and even when people asked me for the time all I did was show my phone to them, time didn't seem to take so long and not only that. Because I was not looking at the time I was happier. I was just less anxious about the time and more focused on what I was doing or thinking. I learned a great lesson from this kind of experience and many others since. That lesson is that time is an illusion. And if time is an illusion then age is as well.
I have seen teenagers so done with life they were already senior and I have seen seniors who were so full of life that I would imagine them to be teens.
If you take anything away from this know this fundamental truth.
You Are As young as you feel and as young as you want to be. Age is not a number. It's a state of mind.
