Polygon is Becoming Safe Haven for Solana Developers

By Tikur | TikurCrypto | 25 Jan 2023

Even though there is a huge price rally of Solana's SOL, it's no secret that the platform is facing a turbulent time currently. More and more developers are leaving the platform and one of the major projects to leave Solana were DeGods and y00ts. y00ts did receive a $3 million grant to move Polygon which helped the switch to be more smoother.

In latest developments, the gaming platform Fractal is expanding to Polygon. The co-founder of  Fractal, Justin Kan stated that most game developer want to work on Polygon which can be considered to be another sign that Polygon is become a safe haven for Solana developers. Fractal’s product suite, F Studio, will be available on Polygon including its NFT marketplace, developer SDK and support for e-sports tournaments.

Justin Kan further added “We’re very excited about this.... We want to be where all the games are.... the most anticipated game developers wherever they will be.”

Although the popularity of NFTs has declined recently, Polygon is still attracting NFT projects and developers. As we get deeper into 2023, it will really be interesting to see how Polygon will perform against other platforms.
