The issue of wealth distribution has been a very sensitive topic that has led people to blame different factors of the society.
Why can't everybody just be rich, why do a few class of people hold on to more riches than they use up in 50 lifetimes just be maintain the title of billionaire or trillionaire or richest man alive.
Even the christian bible has acknowledged that the poor will continually be on earth till the end of time. But it is not their fault that prices of everything needed to live life has gone through the roof but wages haven't still gone up a bit.
One of the causes of centralization of wealth on a particular region is disproportionate opportunity. When opportunity meets preparedness it births a miracle. Most people are better prepared for opportunities thanks others, some are better situated in a place where they can fully harness the potentials of any system, there milking it before anyone else.
Economic mismanagement: Some people are not good with money. They spend more than they earn, they borrow too much, they invest poorly, or they waste their resources. These habits can prevent them from accumulating wealth or even lead them to bankruptcy. Wealth can be distributed in three ways: evenly, top heavy, or bottom heavy. In an even distribution, everyone has the same amount of wealth. In a top heavy distribution, a few people have most of the wealth and many people have little or none. In a bottom heavy distribution, many people have some wealth and a few people have very little or none. The type of distribution can affect how easy or hard it is for people to become rich or poor. Once wealth is distributed, your management skills is what determines how long you can keep or loose that wealth or even multiply it.
In as much as we will not like to admit it, most wealthy men today got lucky and invested in something really profitable with their family wealth or had a lot of backing from family. According to a research, the top three richest women are both divorcee of rich men or widows.
So don't beat yourself up for why you haven't amass generational wealth for yourself, you could be the stepping stone for your kids to do that.
