Airdrops are a reward to participate of a particular activities, to people providing liquidity for a trading pair, for new coin launches to gain popularity of all the things airdrop is, it isn't free money, it is money that was laboured for but you didn't feel it was laboured for.
There are qualifying criteria to every airdrops and some of the malicious airdrops are now used to sweep people's account.
Sometimes, one of the possible way to know a malicious airdrops is that they give you an end value of the airdrop when launched that is too good to be true.
Why will you believe you will get $1000 in airdrops just because you signed a smartcontract with an unknown chain, is the dev your daddy...? Or is he Santa Claus?
