The popular Web3 wallet MetaMask has added support for Solana in its browser extension.
Integration of the "people's cryptocurrency" into the mobile app is expected in the coming weeks. In the near future, the team also plans to add support for other non-EVM networks.

MetaMask’s user base has surpassed 100 million users.

As a reminder, in February the developers announced direct support for Bitcoin, which is scheduled for implementation in Q3.

To simplify transactions, the team is actively implementing the ERC-5792 standard, which enables batch sequential operations, and is also integrating account abstraction.
