Sometimes people don’t like the ideas expressed in an article so they choose to downvote it. People have every right to do that. However, it puzzles me when an article suggests to research for yourself the ideas the MSM (and others) push and some choose to down-thumb it.
I recently posted such an article and suggested that electric cars are NOT ALWAYS environmentally friendly. There are several factors to consider including the manufacturing of the initial product.
I don’t expect everyone to agree. But in the article, I suggest that people do their own research to learn for themselves if a particular product is good for the environment. Someone actually downvoted it. Again, it’s their prerogative (and I’m not offended), but it doesn’t make sense to me.
My opinion of a person who would downvote a “research for yourself” idea is someone who doesn’t care about the truth and only wants to push their agenda on everyone else regardless of the consequences. Not the kind of person whose opinion I value.
