President Trump vs Jesus

President Trump vs Jesus

By Deejo | Thinking-Out-Loud | 5 Jun 2021

Most people have a strong opinion about President Donald Trump. I hear everything from "that guy is the Anti-Christ" to "I love Prez Trump" to "I can't stand Trump, he is so immoral" to "he is anointed by God for this position" to "President Trump can't be a Christian, he is so mean."  Whatever the opinion... it is usually a very strong one.

No matter where the truth lies, Donald Trump is a very polarizing person.  In reflecting on this concept someone else came to mind that was very polarizing... Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ).  This may seem a little odd to some people, because of their bias or hatred for President Trump, but have they considered the way Yeshua treated his enemies and how they treated Him?

We will start by noticing the way that Trump is persecuted by the "leaders", the "religious", the "media", and the "educated."  In Yeshua's day, many of the Pharisees, Scribes, and Torah Teachers persecuted Him. They mocked him, tried to trip Him up, and did everything thing they could to stop His message. Does that sound familiar at all? We know absolutely that Yeshua was/is perfect. He did nothing wrong, yet the leadership abused Him and even crucified Him, and to be honest, they are still persecuting Him today by trying to purge Him and His message from our world.

In drawing the lines of similarities, I would like to point out (unnecessarily I hope)... I know that President Trump is not a perfect man and I would never imply that he is our savior or messiah. I have watched news coverage of him for about five years now and I have seen them twist what he was really saying so much that, if I hadn't heard the soundbites in context, their account of him would be very grievous indeed! However, in seeing both sides, I have concluded that Trump is the best president this country has ever had. He is a man of integrity and on the other side, the most attacked president for no good reason.

The way the entire deep state treats President Trump is very similar to the treatment of Yeshua. They figuratively “crucify” him continually. (I believe that there were thwarted assassination attempts behind the scenes too.) President Trump was investigated for years by people who hate him and they found NOTHING. If he had broken ANY laws the “Never-Trumper” investigators WOULD have found it. These people broke laws and our Constitution to investigate President Trump and everyone around him. And they STILL couldn’t find any laws broken by him.

The only truthful criticism that people could honestly say is that Trump directly offended a few people... and I stress, a FEW people. Not a race of people (as some want you to believe) just a few SPECIFIC people. However, these are the same people that attacked him FIRST. Since when was offending someone a crime? If offending someone was a crime then most of Congress should be arrested. Especially the Democrats, after all, Trump supporters are accused of many horrible things just because we don't agree with their agenda. They say we are racist because we support a President that puts his own country first. You may call me anything you want... that is your right. However, that opens you up to my criticism of you as well, ESPECIALLY when you accuse me of something when you don't even know me or my character!

When President Trump criticizes someone, I believe it is to bring awareness and change. Too many people have attacked President Trump with lies. Trump attacks back to bring out the truth. Even people who know better, like a certain Representative who was/is on the intel committee would lie about Russia (and other things), knowing that what he himself was saying was FALSE!

Getting back to my point.  The question was asked of me, "Trump attacks people, but Yeshua never would do that, right?"  Well, in fact He did... many times. When the leaders and teachers were trying to destroy and pervert justice, Yeshua was out and out rude.  Yeshua called the Pharisees “brood of vipers”, "whitewashed tombs", and on many occasions "hypocrites". He also said they were "sons of hell" and their father was the devil.  Doesn't get any more insult-ee than that!

Yeshua also got angry and made a ruckus by turning the tables of the money changers over in the Temple. Yeshua was perfect and yet insulted and attacked the leadership with His words.

Both men stood up for what they believed and both were harassed and persecuted. The Pharisees were afraid of Yeshua and the deep state is afraid of President Trump.  They will try anything to besmear and stop the message of these men.

My question is why haven't the attacks stopped?  Why would they still be afraid of Trump now if he did not win the election? The answer…. Because he DID and they know it. They are doing (and will do) EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER to hide that fact from us.

I would also like to make note that the deep state is still afraid of Yeshua. Some of the evidence of this is that their efforts to close down churches, worship, prayer, etc. (even outside) but at the same time it was okay to go to bars and sports events. They are labeling people dangerous when they are they are not (in a physical sense that is... now spiritually speaking... that may be another matter).

Why are there so many similarities between Yeshua and President Trump?  Could it be because they are working for the same boss?
