Hello everyone, in today's article we will discover the 5 best Debian-based Linux distributions. Debian is one of the oldest and most reliable distributions not only for the home user but for businesses as well.

1. Ubuntu.

Probably the most famous Linux distribution out there. Ubuntu is known for the user friendliness and the large community. Ubuntu is usually the first distribution a new to Linux user installs on his machine. The distribution is backed by Canonical and their motto is "Linux for human beings".

2. Linux Mint.

Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu and it uses the same release cycle. It provides a modern, good looking and secure operating system suitable for the inexperienced users. It works out of the box and its community is famous for helping new users.

3. MX Linux.

A relatively newer project than Ubuntu and Linux Mint, MX Linux became very popular in the last couple years. It’s a light distribution capable of running on older machines, while giving users a sleek user interface and a user-friendly experience.

4. Kali Linux.

Described as the distribution of the hackers, Kali Linux comes with many penetration testing tools pre-installed. Mostly used by security experts it is a must for users that want to dive in digital forensics.

5. Deepin Linux.
